The Mic Loop [MICRO]

I have used the original mic loop for years, recently swapped to exterior carriers at my agency (finally), So I got myself the MICRO and love it. Just like the original, quality and reliable.

Had the long mic loop when I wore my vest under my uniform and it never let me down. Department switched to outer carriers and I felt lost with the design they chose until I found out they make a mic loop micro. Very pleased now I don’t have to worry about my mic coming off! Awesome product!

Currently an officer in uniformed patrol. I have worn the regular Mic-Loop for years prior with my Class A and BDU uniforms, and I have always deemed it a mandatory piece of equipment that all uniformed officers should have. I recently bought the Mic-Loop Micro, the nameplate sized one. This size works well with the new Safariland Oregon 2.0 load-bearing outer carriers our department has recently swapped to. The flexibility in terms of mic placement and security is important due to Safariland’s design for this outer carrier; the primary loop for the radio mic is placed on the right lower shoulder. This completely interferes with placement for your rifle stock, should you need to transition to that weapon. A great product and mandatory for uniformed officers.

Recently bought the micro loop to put on my turnout coat, it was a tad small so the great folks at the mic loop made me one a touch longer and I couldn’t be happier. My job recently got brand new radios and the mic cords are tight and don’t stretch easily making it difficult to run up and out from under the coat and onto the front of the coat, the loop around 5” total is great, it keeps my mic in front of me but gives me the flexibility to pull the mic closer so I can transmit clearly in loud environments, I couldn't be happier.
